Commitment to Education Beyond Profit
Our heart lies in providing quality education in service of families. Cherrybrook is owned and operated by PAFED (Parents For EDucation), a not-for-profit Social Enterprise. It was started in 1998 by a group of parents in Singapore who were inspired by the spirit and teachings of Saint Josemaria Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei. We are part of a worldwide network of schools which share fundamental principles of vision, mission, philosophy, practices and views on education. While our education services are run with a Catholic ethos, we welcome children of various races, religions and nationalities.
As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus is reinvested directly into our preschools and student care centre — supporting our staff, educational resources, learning environments and facilities. This ensures that every decision we make best supports the children and the families we serve.

When nurtured in a safe and supportive environment, children have the potential to become mature, virtuous and competent adults who act with a great sense of freedom and responsibility, and are eager to serve others.
From your child's first preschool steps through their primary school years, we aim to provide a seamless delivery of unique education rooted in a deep respect for the uniqueness and dignity of every child, a desire to cultivate a love for work well-done, and a commitment to growth of the whole person beyond academic success.
Partnering and Empowering Parents
Cherrybrook was born out of the desire to partner and empower parents — children's primary educators — in moulding their children. We do this by offering quality education services for children and continuing programmes for parents related to parenting and family life.
AN EXCEPTIONAL TEAM
We believe that every member of our team influences our children, be it the teacher, the administrative personnel, the cook or the cleaner. Hence, we take great care in ensuring that our team is aligned with our mission, philosophy and values, and is open to learning and growing, not just professionally, but as persons as well. All staff attend weekly formation sessions.
Our educators recognise each child's uniqueness, are competent in nurturing a lifelong love for learning, and are passionate about cultivating virtue in children. They are both instructor and mentor to every child in their care, and strive to create an environment that exemplifies the character we want to impart to our students. Their goal is to know each child individually and to work with the rest of the team in helping your child achieve his/her fullest potential. We are blessed to have had many of them with us for more than 10 years.
